I was just thinking about how far we have come from our first year. We started in 2017 (see Older Posts) and never looked back. Sure it has taken us 9 years to get to where we are, but HERE WE ARE!!!
I am so proud of The Sustainability Project Inc. We started before “sustainability” became a thing, and our mission hasn’t changed. We want to show others how to be sustainable, but more importantly, we wanted to show the younger generation how they can lessen their own footprint on the planet, and in the meantime own something. Tiny Homes were not really big yet, and Solar Off-Grid was definitely not a thing, so it was important to be an example of how to achieve self sufficiency!
Having the tiny home, gardens, timber framed greenhouse, water catch system, a person could be totally self sufficient!! It is affordable, and young people could definitely make this a reality for themselves, and not be hog-tied by working just to survive. That was the main goal! Let’s show others the way, and give them hope that they can achieve what they set out to do as well.
